After the success that followed Here’s to the Good Times Florida Georgia Line had some big shoes to fill and make sure that they continued their success with the next album. Anything Goes would be the answer to everyone’s worries. With the first single off the album being ‘Dirt’ they were already off to a good start. The song starts off slow but then picks up into a very catchy chorus that Florida Georgia Line is known for. ‘Dirt’ was just the beginning though, because after they released the album things only got better. The album starts off with the title track ‘Anything Goes’ which automatically draws your attention to the catchy verses and choruses. After that we instantly are introduced to the Second single released off this album ‘Sun Daze’ which has a very Bob Marley feel to it which makes sense as they mention in the song “Stir it up as we turn on some Marley”. ‘Smile’ has that very catchy, banjo part in the beginning and after that just like most Florida Georgia Line songs it makes you want to go and have a good time with some buddies. ‘Angel’ is a slower song that usually people would just skip but because of the catchy lyrics and the chorus it’s obvious this is going to be a fan favorite. Finally ‘Every Night’ closes the album with a huge bang. It is probably the most fun song on the album and really just gives the listener huge hopes for the future. I would give Anything Goes easily a ten. This is exactly what a sophomore album should sound like coming from a band like Florida Georgia Line. With as much success they have had I can easily guarantee that their success will continue and will grow to be much larger.
