Zootopia Movie Review

Dominique Graczyk, Reporter

The movie is about two very unlikely heroes who are supposed to be natural enemies becoming friends in a world where humans don’t exist. Judy Hopps (a bunny) tried all her life to become a cop but when she does, nobody takes her seriously. When animals start going missing, Judy needs the help of a con-artist named Nick Wilde (a fox) they don’t get along but Judy gets him to help by blackmailing him. The two are given 48 hours to solve the case of a missing otter but ends up finding all of the missing animals in the process. This movie had several unexpected twists to it including an extremely unexpected villain. Nick and Judy make an amazing team but their friendship isn’t without flaw, they are natural enemies after all. They end up sticking up for each other at a couple of points in the movie.

They both get in to a fight after finding all missing animals and Nick’s feelings get torn apart from the only person who he thought he could call friend. When Judy realizes that the case is far from over, she has to find Nick and apologize to him and let him know how wrong she was for judging him because he’s the only one who can help her solve the case. Nick eventually accepts her apology and follow the trail to catch the villain where Judy realizes that one of her supposed friends was behind everything. The movie Zootopia was able to catch the undivided attention of the eyes of all the viewers within a jam packed theater in an adorably creative way. The movie was funny and followed a great story line. As the plot unraveled, the movie only drew the viewer in more. The movie was created for little kids but what the creators probably didn’t expect was to have grown adults well in to their thirties and forties egger to see the movies as well as the little children that they were escorting. This movie was probably one of the best movies that will come out this year.
