Elvis Movie Review

The world has always been fascinated and starstruck by the icon that many look up to by the name of Elvis Presley, an American singer from the 1950s and 60s with hit songs such as “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and “You’re The Devil in Disguise”. An inspiration to many, this would explain the numerous movies made of him which makes the year of 2022 and its new Elvis movie not so random. Directed by Baz Luhrman and starring Austin Butler, the movie follows the life of the inspiration to many told from the point of view from his manager Colonel Tom Parker-which starred Tom Hanks. The movie lasts about 2 hours and 39 minutes making it a bit of a longer length movie, but not a bad one.

The dramatic movie has you gripping the sides of your seat making you almost fall face first to the floor in anticipation of what will happen next. The 2022 Elvis movie is a good one for anyone who wants a fun watch that will bring the emotions out of them with sadness, excitement, and joy. Though a biography may not be something for everyone in their mind, this movie is one that will change that view for someone. With all the complications and drama within trying to maintain a hard relationship with his enigmatic manager, it is something that everyone would be hooked onto in the first few seconds to minutes. Though the movie hooks the watcher at the start of the movie it also keeps the watcher hooked for the rest of the movie until the last few seconds where everything seems to take a turn. So don’t walk, but run to the nearest theater and grab a ticket to not a repetition of a movie, but something new that will keep you entertained the whole way through even if it isn’t something you would give a regular watch to.
