The winter months started strong with success. January came out with films such as M3GAN, Plane, Missing, and Infinity Pool seen as some of the best horror movies of 2023. In February we saw Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. March rolled around and gave us certified fresh movies like John Wick: Chapter 4, Creed All, and Scream Vl.
The start of the spring months was strong with the return of Evil Dead Rise. Showing Up, The Covenant, and Guys Ritchie’s best-reviewed movie ever. May kicked off with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Others didn’t get as much critical fanfare as Fast X, and The Little Mermaid, but movies such as Blackberry and The Wrath of Becky did. June came out with some good movies like Spider-man: Across the Spider-Verse, Elementals. and Asteroid City.
Two comedy movies Barbie and Oppenheimer were the best in July, scoring over 80 tomato meters and an audience score. August the summer closed out with one last superhero the Blue Beetle which was a flop. September the Equalizer 3, Saw X, and the Haunting in Venice were becoming hits. October the FNaF movies and the Taylor Swift movie everyone was talking about this month. November was a bad month for cinema. Movies like Wish, Leo, and Napoleon had some bad reviews online. 2023 has been a rollercoaster of good and bad movies.
