This school year marks a significant milestone for me, with this being my senior year and becoming Editor-in-Chief of the JTC Journal. As I embark on this journey, I’m filled with a mix of emotions; acknowledging the bittersweet reality of my final year, I’m deeply grateful for my exceptional mentors and the previous Editors-in-Chiefs who laid the foundation for the JTC Journal’s success. Their influence has been instrumental in shaping me into the leader I am today. I aspire to build upon their legacy and make my impact. As I take over Volume 115, I promise to deliver a publication that is both trustworthy and informative, showcasing the best of our school community and the city of Joliet. I’m committed to highlighting the positives of being a Steelman and sharing the stories that make our community thrive. Their contributions make us stronger, so it’s impossible not to value them and their input and efforts. I’m honored to be part of this tradition and look forward to working with our team to create a publication that makes our students and staff proud. I would also like to thank the students who make the JTC Journal what it is.
