You know what is so easy about going to a black and white dance? You only have to choose between two colors to wear. Here are a few ideas for you to consider when shopping for an outfit.
Some places to find stylish, yet inexpensive dresses are Forever 21, Macy’s, and Charlotte Rousse. You can also find low prices on jewelry and shoes at these stores. So, if you are looking for a fashion forward update on the LBD (little black dress), work in a little texture. This includes sequin and sparkle, and lace is a classic for “it” trends season after season. Cutouts and sheer panels on the back of a dress can add drama to an otherwise conservative cut. So don’t be afraid to be a little daring but remember, less is more. In addition, a dress with a tasteful neckline, flattering waistline, and a skirt that stops right above the knee can be re-used for other occasions. Side note: it would be best to leave high-lows and peplum styles in the past. All this info applies for white dresses as well.
Jewelry is crucial when being paired with a dress. Of course if the dress is sparkly, then go for a simpler necklaces and smaller accessories. It’s the opposite for simple dresses. Instead, make a statement with a bigger and brighter necklace. Also your earrings could vary as well. Just stay away from “over-sized hoochie hoops.”
One thing to remember, a night like this is not about looking the best to other people. It’s about looking the best to yourself and having a good time.
