The weather outside surely can be considered frightful these days. Though we didn’t have snow for the holidays, which surely helped travel plans for families, the temperature still made people miserable. In the beginning of the year people had to get through blizzards and temperatures that got close to -45 degrees closing many schools in the area and drawing out the winter break which excited many kids. But as we got further into the month of January temperatures rose and melted the cold snow, but we shouldn’t put away the winter coats yet because more miserable weather is yet to come. Make sure that if the weather does get dangerously cold again that you are prepared, have a warm coat and a hat and gloves ready, when the temperature is in the negatives it’s no time to look fashionable, it’s a time to look warm. Listen to local news radios if there has been bad weather and you don’t know if school is closed or not, or check on the schools website. The weather has been very temperamental and everyone needs to be prepared for whatever the weather can throw at us.
