Winter Holiday Traditions

Many different places celebrate winter but are different from others. Some have parades down the street, others light up fireworks that have beautiful designs. Every state or country’s traditions are glorious, Like Thailand; They make floating lanterns which they let go into the sky. One of the main things that’s celebrated is Christmas; Families get together, they have a feast, give out presents, bake, put up decorations, drink hot chocolate, etc. New Year’s would be next in the line after Christmas, giving a fresh new year that can come out with events happening, new releases, including drama. Some people will have traditions to go on vacations to a different country or state, some would go to the same place every year without changing. Some would just go to an ice skating rink, go shopping, or just go to fun places like arcades, or anything. There are many different traditions celebrated at this time of the season. There’s even something called a Winter Solstice event when the earth reaches its limit tilted away from the sun. Some people will light up fireworks and watch them with warm blankets and fire in front of them and just do what they do. There would be some events that they will do in malls or anywhere that’s known; they’ll do a Secret Santa, or meet Santa to take a picture. Although there are different ways people do traditions in the winter season it’s always there and the same every year for Everyone.
