If you want a way to remember your 2024-2025 school year at Joliet Central High School, purchase a yearbook!
A school yearbook is typically a way of remembering the school year that highlights events of the school year. A yearbook can be referred to as a “memory book”. You can purchase a yearbook for the 2024-2025 school year now until May 1st! If students have questions about yearbooks they can contact Mrs. Drzymalla at [email protected]. People could have started buying yearbooks starting on August 8th to August 30th for fifty-five dollars. People can now buy them from August thirtieth to December thirtieth for sixty dollars. After January first to May first, people can purchase a yearbook for sixty-five dollars.
The Joliet Central High School yearbook has been referred to as “The J” for a long period of time. The yearbook has been a thing in Joliet Central since the 1900’s. The yearbook sponsor, Mrs Dryzmalla says, “Yearbooks preserve the history of a school. The notable events, successes, and trends are documented forever. Yearbooks can create a link between alumni and current students, and those who have yet to walk the halls. It can be an inspiration to future generations. Yearbooks preserve the history of a school. Yearbooks can create a link between alumni and current students, and those who have yet to walk the halls.”
On September 9th, 10th, 11th, and 13th, Joliet Central High School photos for the yearbook took place by grade level during the students’ PE, Health, JROTC, Drivers Ed, and Band classes. Mrs Dryzmalla says, “All activities involved in the yearbook club focus on constructing the yearbook. The club members undertake all activities: taking pictures, drawing layouts, cropping photographs, writing and typing copy, fundraising, and selling yearbooks. The physical goal is to produce an excellent yearbook that arrives in June before graduation.” Most people agree yearbooks hold a positive impact rather than a negative impact due to their idea of being a memory book for high school students and the memories made.
