Christmas Has Finally Arrived In New York

New York is one of the most wanted places to go around Christmas time. Many people dream about being able to see how New York looks around wintertime from their own perspective. Christmas in New York is known to be very fun and entertaining. One of the many reasons why many people travel to New York for Christmas is because of the Macy’s Thanksgiving parade but as soon as that is over it is all bells, Santa Claus, reindeer, and shop windows filled with Christmas cheer. A fun fact is if visiting and staying at a hotel the staff works through Thanksgiving night to transform the hotel into Christmas by morning. It is like a never-ending fever dream. One of the festivals that has happened is the “Sparkle of Holiday Lights” in Brooklyn this year. New York also has many light shows as well. Another reason it is one of the most wanted-to-see areas is the beautiful light installations in department stores that are on windows. One of the store departments is Broadway like Saks Fifth Avenue’s, Macy’s, and Bloomingdales, and the massive Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center. When interviewing someone who has traveled to New York City for Christmas, they talked about how they came around December to New York to be able to experience all the things they love doing with their family, “My family and I come to New York every year to get to see all the great things that happened around Christmas time.
