Everyone is looking forward to the Homecoming dance on October 5th. It lasts for three hours, from 7:00 – 10:00 p.m. There are tickets being sold down at the textbook center for $15. They are only being sold up until October 1st. So, if you haven’t bought your ticket yet, then you better hurry! If you plan to bring friend or date from a different school, you will have to get a registration form from the principal’s and have it filled out, with the money, by October 1st. In your student email (office 365), you received an email from JT Communication about voting for Homecoming Court. The votes were tallied and the court was announced! As of now, the race for King and Queen is still going. Voting is done, but only the three girls and three guys were announced for Senior Court. During the Homecoming/Winter Sport’s Assembly, the King and Queen will be announced. It’s a tossup between Jackie, Desree, and Diana for Homecoming Queen and Jose, Caleb, and Mario for King. It will be a day to remember when the lucky girl and guy are crowned in front of the entire school. Speaking of Homecoming, this year’s theme for homecoming is Fiesta! This was decided by student council. After a few years of fighting for this theme, the students were finally able to get their Fiesta homecoming! On Saturday, October 5th, the Parade will kick off the day! The clubs, sports, and Homecoming Court will parade around the Joliet streets. They come back to kick off the homecoming game. After watching an intense game, it’s time to dance the night away! Surely with the colorful decorations of Fiesta, the lively music, and beautiful attire, it will be a night of memories. Homecoming is a great experience for freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors alike.
