The National Honor Society’s members this year are the most Ms. Erzinger has ever had. These seniors have either been inducted in the spring of last year, or have been only stoled at the beginning of this year. They’ve all proven their values to this school by the strict guidelines a student must hold to obtain the title as one of these prestige students. These exceptional students have been awarded more than just honor roll. To be a member they had to have a certain grade point average, get approved by selected teachers, and demonstrate scholarship, leadership, service, and character. These qualities don’t just attribute to NHS, but should be the qualities one would need to be successful after high school and to be a good Samaritan. Each member has demonstrated an outstanding amount of service throughout the community, has been awarded with some type of achievement that makes them unique has been awarded with a form of leadership role that demonstrates responsibility, and is someone with a well-established, moral character. Some activities the senior have done are Rockathon, NHS v. Teachers basketball game, and currently the boys are working on their Male Poms routine for the Spring Sports Assembly.
Now the time has come for this year’s juniors to be inducted. All the juniors that have made the final cut have been informed via email and will be known as NGS members by the evening of March 19th. Words of advice to these new members: you’ve earned this title and you should be proud. Although, you need to keep up the good work; you are always being watched.
