Welcome back to the new NFL season, the first two weeks have passed and we have a lot to talk about! The Bears VS Tennesse went moderately well for the Bears– with the team recruiting a new QB, Caleb Williams, who was a first-round pick in the 2024 draft. What impressed Bears fans mainly was that the defense and special teams won the game with a score of 24-17. Next was a pretty big deal: the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Cheeseheads traveled all the way to Brazil. This was to play the Philadelphia Eagles. Jordan Love, the QB for the Packers, went down in the 4th Quarter and sustained a knee injury and was theorized to be out for 3-6 weeks, but Love is back at practice so it may not be as long of a wait.
The Dallas Cowboys had a big win against the Browns in week 1, 33-17. The problem with all the sports broadcasters on week 1 was that they were all having early predictions of the Cowboys making it to the Superbowl. The 49ers are still without Christian Mccaffrey, and the Niners won against the Jets 32-19, KC was having a good week; they were up against the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5th, 2024, and Lamar Jackson, quarterback of the Baltimore team, lost to KC, and Pat Mahomes, the quarterback to Kansas City, scored 20-26. Miami is really making a lot of noise already– their golden boy Tyreek Hill was arrested face down on the pavement for a speeding violation on the way to the game against the Jaguares. Despite this, the Miami Dolphins won 20-17. Week two was an upsetting week, all the top teams lost, Dallas lost to the New Orleans Saints 44-19; the Cardinals scored a huge win of 41-10 against the Rams. Niners lost 23-17 to the Vikings; The Buccaneers beat the Lions 20 – 16. That was just some of the things that happened, and who knows what else this season will bring, watch and make your opinions!
